    • CELEBRATED 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARRIAGE

      Mr. and Mrs. John Copley of New Dundee, celebrated their diamond wedding on Saturday, March 3, surrounded by their family of nine children. This is the first time that all of the members of the family have seen one another for about twenty years. There has only been one death in the family.

      Mrs. Copley is in her 83rd year and is still spry and hearty and doing her work about the house as usual. Mr. Copley suffered a paralytic stroke about six years ago and has been laid up since that time.

      The diamond jubilee celebrants lived near New Dundee ever since their marriage until about eleven years ago when they moved into the
      town.

      Those present were Joseph, of Irricanna, Alberta; John of New Dundee William of Plattsville: Mrs. Fred Cockerton, of Plattsville: Harry of New Dundee; Mrs. Samuel Gofton of Kitchener, Mrs. Israel Hallman of Bloomingdale Mrs. J. A. Taylor of Waterloo Adelaide at home.
