  GEORGE HOFFMAN WELLESLEY-George Hoffman, 89, Kitchener, formerly of North Easthope Township, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener after a four week illness. He was born in North Easthope, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Konrad Hoffman and worked in North Easthope until his retirement to Kitchener nine years ago. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope. His wife, the former Anna Thibideau, died in1957. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Julius (Ruby) Thibideau, Kitchener: Mrs. Chester (Edna) Duval, Toledo Ohio, a brother Charles, Preston; sisters, Mrs. Evan (Frida ) Knowlton, Etobicoke, Mrs. Oscar (Sophie) Sachs and Mrs. Harry (Minnie) Grahm, both of Preston: seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The body will be at Futher Brothers funeral home here, until noon Wednesday when removal will be made to St. James church for service at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. 0. V. Jansen will officiate.
