  Abner Brighton PRESTON, June 11 - The death of Abner Brighton, 80, occurred at the Freeport Sanatorium early today. A resident of Preston, he had been confined to the sanatorium for ten years. Born in Wilmot Township, Mr. Brighton resided in Hespeler and Toronto for short periods before taking up residence in Preston 28 years ago. He had been employed as a cabinet maker in the Canada Office and School Furniture Ltd., before taking ill. He was a member of the Evangelical Church. Surviving lure his wife, the former Ida Langridge, Preston, and two sisters, Mrs. Allan Stager, Tavistock, and Mrs. Mervin Bechtel, New Dundee. A daughter, Jean Marie, died in infancy. The remains are resting at the Stager-Pass Ltd. Funeral Home where the service will be held Thursday at 2: 30. Interment will be made in the Preston Cemetery.
