- BRENT, Charles (Charlie) - Completed his journey, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on April 26, 2006, in his 77th year.
He will be greatly missed by his son, Eric and his wife Linda of Cambridge and his daughter, Karin Ann of Mississauga. He was a loving grand- father to Steven, Gregory and Jessica and great-grandfather to Xavier and is survived by sister, Audrey and husband Bill Wildfong and sisters-in-law, Grace, Shirley and Marilyn. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sister, Isobel and her husband Ian Beacock and his brothers, John (Jake), Rex and Doug.
Charlie served his community for many years on the Hespeler Town Council and Cambridge City Council. He was a member for many years of the Hespeler Branch No. 272 of the Royal Canadian Legion, the Hespeler I.O.O.F. and Preston (Hespeler) Rotary Club and a devoted member of St. James Anglican Church.
Friends will be received on Friday evening from 7-9 Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge. A memorial service will be held at St. James Anglican Church on Saturday morning at 11 a.m, with interment to 'follow at New Hope Cemetery.
Donations may be made to either th Canadian Cancer Society or to Lisaar House.
