- Mrs. John Strub
Mrs. John Strub, 71, of 247 Franklin Ave., died Tuesday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born near Philipsburg Feb. 7, 1896, she was the former Agatha Dorscht, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dorscht. She lived in the Twin Cities most of her life. Surviving are three brother Louis, Jacob and Edwin, all of Kitchener: six sisters, Mrs. Henry (Louise) Strub, Kitchener; Mrs. Vincent (Rose) Hummel, Mrs. Alex (Christine) Hause and Mrs. Norman (Pauline) Koebel, all of Waterloo, Mrs. Alex (Viola) Carmichel. Hamilton, and Mrs. Carl (Clara) Kahle, Wallaceburg. She was predeceased by her husband John, in 1963. The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, where service will be conducted Friday, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Denton Massey, of the Church of the Holy Savior. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.
