  Edward S. Hofstetter Edward S. Hofstetter, 61, of 73 Elgin St. died at his home yesterday after a lengthy illness. A native of Wilmot Centre, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hofstetter. He was an employee of the Baetz Furniture Co., Ltd., and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are his widow, the formed Amelia Rueffer, whom he married in Petersburg in 1916; one son, Earl of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Omer (Ruth) Gagnier of Windsor and Mrs. Robert (Marie) Mahn of Kitchener; two brothers, Samuel of Victoriaburg, Ont., and Orphen of Toronto; two sisters, Mrs. Aldon Snider of Kitchener and Mrs. Gertrude Hux of Dowagiac, Mich.; six grandchildren. The body will rest at the Rate-Bechtel Funeral Home until Monday noon when removal will be made to St. Paul's Church for the funeral at 2 p.m. Burial will he in Woodland Cemetery with Ilex'. Arthur Eissfeldt, St. Paul's Church pastor, officiating. ________________ Samuel Hofstetter The death occurred at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital last Friday of Samuel Hofstetter, at the age of 70 years, following an illness of two months' duration. Deceased was born in Wilmot Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hofstetter, and spent his entire life in the community where he was well and favorably known. Up to the time of his last illness he farmed on the Bleam's Road, at Victoriaburg. Surviving are one brother, Orphen, Toronto, and two sisters, Mrs. Aldon Snider of Kitchener and Mrs. Gertrude Hux of Dowagiac, Mich. He was predeceased by two brother and four sisters. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon with service at the Wilmot Centre Evangelical, United Brethren Church, and burial in the Wilmot Centre Cemetery. Rev. C. R.
