    • Died - The death occurred very suddenly of Mr. John Schenk early last Saturday morning at his home near Wilmot Centre, heart failure being the cause of his death. The deceased was in his 65th year and was born at Mannheim. For the past twenty years be resided on the farm east of Wilmot Centre. He was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and was a member of the Baden Lutheran Church. The late Mr. Schenk was married to Miss Mary Hofstetter. He leaves his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Allan Battler, of Wilmot, and Miss Minerva, at home, to mourn his departure. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon from his late home to the Baden Lutheran Church and Cemetery and was largely attended.
