  MRS. ELEANORA BOATMAN Mrs. Eleanora Boatman, 56, widow of the late George Boatman, passed away last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Miller, Union St. E., following a short illness. Deceased was born at Petersburg to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hauck. She was a member of the Christian Mothers' Society as well as ST. LOUIS R.C. Church. Her husband died 21 years ago. Surviving are one son, Pte. Carl Boatman, overseas with the R.C.- A.M.C.; one daughter, Mrs. George (Leone) Miller, Waterloo; two brother, Henry, Waterloo and Charles, Alberta: two sisters, Mrs. Katie Rumig and Mrs. John Strub, both of Waterloo. Two grandchildren also survive. One son, Pte. Leonard Boatman, was reported killed three weeks ago. The funeral service will be held from the Walsh Funeral Home, Waterloo, Thursday at 8: 45 a.m. When a prayer will be said, followed by a nine o'clock service at St. Louis Church where requiem high mass will be sung. Remains will rest at the funeral home until the hour of the service. Interment will be made in Waterloo Mt. Hope Cemetery. Kitchener Daily Record 26 Jun 1945 pg 13
