  Edward Knipfel - Edward Knipfel, 63, of 37 Guelph St., died today at K-W Hospital. Born Sept. 20, 1895, in Petersburg, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Knipfel. A resident of Kitchener for the past 40 years he was an employee of the Merchants rubber factory for the past 39 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, Harvey W. of Kitchener; three daughters, Mrs. Wilfred (Irene) Hoefler, Shirley and Gloria Knipfel, all of Kitchener; three brothers, Frederick and Henry of Petersburg, and John of York, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Louisa Schenk of Kitchener, and Mrs. Herbert Lautenschlager of Colorado Springs, Col. There also are six grandchildren. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral Home until Tuesday noon when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church where funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm, Rev. Arthur Eissfeldt will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the church until the time of service.
