    • Litwiller.- Elmer, son of Peter J. and Elizabeth (Schwartzentruber) Litwiller, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., Sept. 30, 1893; died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Sept. 13, 1984; aged 90 y. On Dec. 13, 1916, he was married to Salome Gascho, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Earl), 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one brother (William), and one sister (Elmeda-Mrs. Henry Bechler). He was preceded in death by one brother (Noah). He was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 17, in charge of Fred Lichti and Elmer Schwartzentruber; interment in Steinmann Mennonite Church Cemetery.

      Elmer
      On Thursday, Sept. 13, 1984, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Elmer Litwiller, of RR 2, Petersburg. He was born in Wilmot township 90 years ago and was a son of the late Peter J. Litwiller and the former Elizabeth Schwartzentruber. He was a member of the Steinman Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden. Beloved husband of the former Salome Gascho, whom he married December 13, 1916.
      Dear father of Earl and his wife Mary of RR 2, Petersburg. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Duane and his wife Susan of RR 2, Petersburg, Sheryl and her husband Albert Crabbe of New Hamburg and great-grandchildren, Gregory and Kara Litwiller, Jacqueline, Victoria and Suzanne Crabbe; dear brother of William and his wife Louise of Lowville, N.Y., Elmeda and her husband Henry Bechler of Pigeon, Mich. Elmer was predeceased by one brother, Noah.
      Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 p.m. Friday, and until noon Monday, Sept. 17, when transfer will be made to the Steinman Mennonite Church, for service at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev. Fred Lichti and Rev. Elmer Schwartzentruber officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
      As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the House of Friendship, Kitchener or the charity of one's choice.
