Notes |
- Death of Charles L. Forster
We are sorry to report the death of Mr. Charles L. Forster which occurred at his home on Huron Street about 11 o'clock Tuesday evening at the age of 45 years, 10 months and 13 days, after an illness of three month' duration. The deceased came to New Hamburg 14 years ago from Parkhill, where he conducted a furniture and undertaking business. He was in charge of the undertaking and furniture department of the late D. Becker's store and about eight years ago resigned to accept a position as travelling salesman for the Guelph Casket Co, which position he held until his fatal illness forced him to relinquish three months ago. The deceased was a member of the Anglican church and has a large circle of friends who regret his passing. He leaves in bereavement his sorrowing widow, one son Clinton, and four daughters, Helen, Ruth, Elenor & Lotus, all at home to mourn his demise. He is also survived by his two brothers and three sisters, namely F. D. Forster, London, Theodore Forster and Mrs. Harry Stadtlander, of Hanover, Mrs. Adam Glasser, Kitchener, Mrs. Walter Schaus, of Elmira. The funeral will be held privately this afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. Mr. Pogson will have charge of the service and interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the community for their sad loss.
