  GASCHO, Simeon -- On Wednesday, April 11, 1979, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Mr. Simeon Gascho of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, aged 85 years. He was a lifelong resident of Wilmot Township and was a member of Steinman Mennonite Church, Route 2, Baden. Husband of the late Sarah Schwartzentruber, who predeceased him in 1975. He is survived by one son John of New Hamburg and seven grandchildren, Rosemary, Jane, Paul, Barbara and John David, Christine and Carole, and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by one sister Susan (Mrs. John Zehr) of Lockport N.Y. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Menno Gascho and the former Catherine Meyer; two sisters, Barbara (Mrs. Peter Gingerich), and Olivia, in early childhood. The late Mr. Gascho is resting at the Omand-Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 7 p.m. this evening and until noon on Saturday, April 14, when removal will be made to Steinman Mennonite Church for service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Vernon Zehr and Rev. Elmer Schwartzentruber officiating. Interment to follow in Steinman Mennonite Church cemetery. The Kitchener-Waterloo Record 12 Apr 1979
