- Samuel Levagood, aged 80 years, died on Monday, Feb. 9, 1914, at the home of his daughter Mrs. Roadman, at Onamia, Minn. Cause of death was pneumonia. The remains arrived in Yale Wednesday evening and were taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Heinmiller in Greenwood township and the funeral will be held this afternoon at one o'clock from the Evangelical church, east of Yale, Services will be conducted by Eld. L.. Clark, assisted by Rev. Brown of that church, and interment will be made in the Lett cemetery beside his wife who died several years ago.
Mr. Levagood was at one time a resident of Greenwood township, and will be well remembered by the older inhabitants. He leaves to mourn the death of a kind and loving father, three children, two daughters, Mrs. Roadman, of Onamia, Minn., and Mrs. Wm. Heinmiller, of Greenwood, and one son Jacob, who is living in the west, but his exact residence is not known.
Dr. and Mrs. Roadman accompanied the body here and attended the funeral. The Expositor sympathizes with the family in their bereavement.
