  Bechtel, George Robert - Peacefully, at Freeport Hospital Health Care Village, on Friday, Aug. 13, 1993, George Bechtel, in his 69th year. Dearest husband of Gertrude Bechtel of New Dundee; loving father of Brian and his wife Lynn of Cambridge and Grant and his wife Frances of Bradford; grandfather of Jeffrey, Stephanie, Kevin and Michael. Also survived by sisters Ruth Poth and Doris Rosenberger and one brother, Wilbert (Butch). He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Percy and an infant son, Dennis. At the request of the family, there will be no funeral home visitation. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S.
