  WIDEMAN, Allan D. -- On Monday, July 22, 1985, at his residence, 218 Boullee St., New Hamburg, Allan D. Wideman, formerly of Milverton and Stouffville, he was born in High River, Alta, 80 years ago. A son of the late William Wideman and the former Esther Hoover. He was a member of Poole Mennonite Church and a member of the Baden Senior Citizens. Allan had farmed in Markham township and was the first administrator of Parkview Home in Stouffville. Beloved husband of the former Edna Miller, whom he married April 28, 1929; sadly missed by his children, Verna and her husband Herbert Reesor of Vancouver, B.C., Murray and his wife Pearl of RR 3, Atwood, Ronald and his wife Linzy of RR 4, Norton, N.B.; lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Wayne, Dale, Cheryl, Louise, Janice, Denise, Michael, Lisa, and Mark and his two great grandchildren, Jonathan and Michael. He was predeceased by one sister Mrs. Leona Eby. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, after 2 p.m. Thursday, and until Friday at noon, when transfer will be made to Poole Mennonite Church for the service at 2: 30 o'clock p.m., with Rev. David Brubacher and Rev. Amsey Martin officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 23 Jul 1985 __________________ Wideman.- Allan Delos, son of William and Esther (Hoover) Wideman, was born at High River, Alta., Jan. 30, 1905; died at New Hamburg, Ont., July 22 1985; aged 80 y. On Apr. 28, 1929, he was married to Edna Miller, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter (Verna Reesor), 2 sons (Murray and Ronald Wideman), 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Poole Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on July 26, in charge of David Brubacher and Amsey Martin; interment in the church cemetery.
