  Dorothy HONDERICH, May - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at her residence, Greenwood Court, Stratford. Dorothy was formerly of RR#2 New Hamburg. She was born 87 years ago in Waterloo on March 31, 1917, a daughter of the late Clayton and Bella (Shantz) Shuh. Dorothy was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg. She and Cameron farmed at the Honderich Homestead for 29 years and were dedicated supporters of Jersey Canada. Dorothy was a charter member of the Haysville Women's Institute and a member of the Wilmot Horticulture and Wilmot Agricultural Societies. Dorothy enjoyed flowers, sewing, quilting, embroidery and music. Beloved wife of the late Grant Cameron Honderich who predeceased her February 2, 1999. Loving mother of Kathryn and Patrick Wall of RR#1 New Hamburg, Marilyn and Murray McCaig of Huntingdon, Quebec, Dave and Anne Honderich of RR#2 New Hamburg, Virginia and Paul Warwick of Exeter. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Kevin and Ann Marie, Sean and Karla, Derrick and Allison, Joanne, Scott and Jenn, Rebecca, Megan, Dana, Andrew, Teresa and Brett. Also remembered by sister-in-law, Jeanne Shuh of Waterloo and a number of nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by an infant son, Cameron Ross; brothers, Edward and his wife Evelyn Shuh and Donald Shuh. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2005 at Zion United Church, New Hamburg at 1: 00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Thaler officiating. Burial to follow in Wilmot Reformed Mennonite Cemetery, Baden. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Greenwood Court or Zion United Church. The Record newspaper 3 Mar 2005
