  Leis, Nancy, daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Gascho) Steinman, was born near Baden, Ont., May 22, 1891; died at her home in Wellesley, Ont.,Aug. 13, 1970; aged 79 y. 2 m. 22 d. On Oct. 23, 1917, she was married to Amos Leis, who died Oct. 28, 1967. Surviving are 3 sons (Gordon, Leroy, and Omar), 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, 2 brothers (Daniel and David), and one sister (Barbara). She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She was a member of the Maple View Church, where funeral services were held Aug. 16, with Alvin Leis and Chris O. Erb officiating; interment in the adjoining cemetery.
