    • Herbert Edward Forsyth

      Herbert Edward Forsyth, of 390 Bleams Road, New Hamburg died on Tuesday of last week at the Stratford Hospital. He was 61.

      He was born Nov. 18, 1907, in New Liskeard, Ont. He had been a resident of New Hamburg since 1946, and was a felt maker at Hamburg Felt Boot Company Ltd., New Hamburg.

      He was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg, a son son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Forsyth.

      Surviving besides his wife, the former Mildred Heug are two sons, Laverne, of Hespeler, and Wayne at home; one daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Connie) Wilbee of London; four brothers, Garnet and Wilfred of Flin Flon, Man., Percy of Lynn Lake, Man., and Rev. Allred Forsyth of Edmonton.

      Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Susan) Lachine of Edmonton, Mrs, Norman (Ettie) Aitken, and Mrs. Mae A. E. Hillier, both of Flin Flon, Man., and Mrs. Frank (Lillian) Holmes of Strathclair, Man. and two grandchildren.

      Funeral service was conducted at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home at 2 p.m. last Thursday, Rev. J.B. Moore officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
