  Kropf, Mr. Alvin - At the K-W Hospital, on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 1979, after a brief illness, Alvin Kropf, age 77 years, of 290 Martindale Cres., Waterloo and formerly of Milverton. Mr. Kropf was born in Waterloo Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kropf. He was an employee of United Landscaping of Waterloo and was a member of the Poole Mennonite Church. Predeceased by his first wife, the former Lavina Kipfer. Survived by his second wife the former Marlene Boettger; four sons, Ralph and Delford both of Waterloo, Eldon of Stratford, Stanley of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Margaret) Henning of Stratford. Step-father of David, Glen and Brian at home and Betty of Kitchener, brother of William of Kitchener, Mrs. Herman (Adela) Kipfer of Milverton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, until noon on Saturday, then to the Poole Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. on Saturday, Rev. Amsey Martin officiating. Internment in the adjoining church cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Kitchener-Waterloo Record, December 28, 1979
