- Andrew S. Doering Passes Suddenly
Though in poor health for the past month, death came very suddenly to Mr. Andrew S. Doering, well known resident of Wellesley, at the age of 67 years.
The deceased was born in Philipsburg on May 10, 1874, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Andrew Doering. He was married to Caroline Hamel and they operated a farm on the outskirts of Wellesley for many years.
The deceased was a Lutheran in religion and was a member of St. Paul's Canada Lutheran Church in Wellesley.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four brothers and a sister, Theodore, Edwin, Elmer, Dr. Louis Doering and Miss Millie Doering, all of Philipsburg.
The funeral will be held this Friday afternoon with a private service at the home at 2 o'clock, followed by public service at Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg, and interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Wm. Nolting of Wellesley and Rev. G. K. Schutz, Philipsburg, will be in charge of the services.
