    • John F. Roth

      The death occurred at his home south of Haysville last Saturday evening of Mr. John Frederick Roth in his 63rd year of age. He had been ill for some time.

      The deceased was born in North Easthope on April 4, 1879, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Roth. He moved with his parents to the Haysville district about 40 years ago. For some years he conducted the McCormick-Deering agency in New Hamburg but for the past ten years resided with his brother, William, on the farm. The deceased was a Lutheran in religion and was well and favorably known throughout the district.

      He was unmarried but is survived by two brothers, Henry, of Wellesley, and William, Haysville, a sister, Mrs. Samuel Hunsperger, Wilmot, while one sister, Mrs. John Riehl, predeceased him.

      The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon with service at the house and interment in Riverside Cemetery. Rev. H. R. Mosig conducted the services.
