  Mrs. Christian Wilhelm The death took place quite suddenly on Monday of this week of Catharine Koch, widow of the late Chr. S. Wilhelm, at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 4 days. The deceased was a valued member of the Baptist church and was highly esteemed. She was born at Lisbon, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Koch. She was married in 1895 to Christian S. Wilhelm, who predeceased her four years ago and resided since on their farm near Philipsburg. There are left to mourn her demise three sons, Herman, of New Hamburg, Nelson, and Wellington at home, and four daughters, Mrs. Henry Rabe, of Breslau and Edna, Lillian and Alice at home. She also leaves two brothers, John Koch, of North Easthope, and Harry Koch, of Kitchener. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 1.30 o'clock to the Shantz Church and the Wilhelm Cemetery. The funeral will be in charge of Rev. Mr. Dale, of the local Baptist church. New Hamburg Independent, January 31, 1930
