- Mrs. A.C. Morris, 78, the former Alice Brubacher, died June 2 at her home, 9 King St., after a short illness.
Born in St. Jacobs, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anson Brubacher.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church and of the Women's Society of World Service.
Her husband died in April of 1947. Surviving are five brothers, Eugene of Preston, Ralph of St. George, Eli of Hanover, Calvin of Kitchener and Clayson of Waterloo; and four sisters, Agnes and Joy of Kitchener, Aleda of St. Catharines and Mrs. Stanley (Mabel) Schweitzer of Waterloo. She was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Saturday noon when removal was made to Zion EUB Church for the service at 2 p.m. Rev. M.E. Reuber and Rev. J.W. Siebert officiated. Burial was in St. Jacobs Evangelical cemetery.
