  WELLESLEY - Albert Adam Hammer, 74 Queen St., E., Wellesley, died today at Freeport Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 77. Born in Wilmot Township, April 24, 1892, he was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. George Hammer. He farmed in the township until he retired to Wellesley in 1963. He married the former Martha Schaefer in Mornington Township April 20, 1921. He was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg, and, after moving to Wellesley, was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Walter of Baden and Clarence of R.R. 1, Wellesley; one daughter, Mrs. Norbert (Eileen) Quehl of R.R. 1, Bamberg; one sister, Mrs. Peter (Anna) Wegfahrt of Kitchener and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. The body will be at the Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Wellesley, after 2 p.m. Wednesday, until noon Friday when removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Rev. Orval Jansen will conduct the service at 2: 30 p.m. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran cemetery, Philipsburg. Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
