- Sapper Brubacher Dead.
"died of wounds, Nov. 25th" is the sad news received by the wife of Sapper Lloyd Brubacher Wednesday, concerning her husband. The following day two letters arrived from him, both of which were cheerful and hopeful. he was born in St. Jacob's, Ont., 22 years ago, and for six years lived in Toronto, employed as electrical engineer with the Hydro Commission. A brother, Eli has enlisted with the navy, and is now home in St. Jacob's on ten days' leave, Sapper Brubacher enlisted with the 4th Divisional Cyclist Corps, and later was transferred to the 4th Canadian Engineers. Five sisters and three brothers live with their parents at St. Jacob's and his wife resides at 19 Waterloo Avenue.

News has been received of the death of Sapper Lloyd Brubacher who had been at the battle front in France for the last 3 months. Death was due to gunshot. Sympathy goes forth to the widow and parents.
