  JANTZI, John of Route 1, Millbank, passed away January 24, 1980, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. He was born in Wilmot Township, 80 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mary Gerber in 1974. He is survived by two sons David of Wellesley and Delmar [Delmar was a grandson, the son of one of John's daughters and raised as a son] of Route 1, Wellesley; four daughters Katie (Mrs. Ralph) Gerber), Madeline (Mrs. Roy Gerber), Alma (Mrs. Jacob Zehr), all of Route 1, Millbank, Edna (Mrs. Raymond. Jantzi) of Route 2, Wellesley; two sisters Lydia (Mrs. Jacob Albrecht) of Route 1, Millbank and Sahar (Mrs. Enoch Horst) of Elmira; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son in infancy in 1935 and one daughter, Esther (Mrs. John Zehr) in 1977 and by four brothers and six sisters. The late Mr. Jantzi is resting at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home,Wellesley, where a service will be held, at 1 p.m., on Saturday, followed by a Memorial service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m., Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating.
