  DAVID R. ROES David R. Roes, 82, of the Brunner Nursing Home and formerly of Millbank, died Sunday, January 21 at the Stratford General Hospital. Born in South Easthope Township, September 25, 1897, he was a son of the late David Roes and the former Barbara Roth. He farmed at R.R. 1 Millbank and retired to Millbank in 1951. He was a member of Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. His wife, the former Elizabeth Jantzi, died in 1972. Surviving are three brothers, Eli, of R.R. 1 Brunner, Isaac, of Brunner and Daniel, of Croghan, N.Y.; and one sister, Lavina Roes, of Brunner. He was predeceased by three brothers. The late Mr. Roes is resting at the Futher Bros. funeral home, Wellesley, where a family service will be conducted on Wednesday (today) at 10 a.m. followed by a service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Bishop Arthur Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
