- John Albert Hohl, 75, of 79 Norman St., Waterloo, died at K-W Hospital Friday night after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Hohl was born July 26, 1889, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hohl. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, and had served on the church council for a number of years. In his younger days he had been a member of Wilmot Township council.
A resident of Waterloo for 20 years, he had been employed at Bauer's Limited for 12 years. Prior to that he had farmed in Wilmot Township.
His wife, the former Elmina Shopp, died in September, 1960 and he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Esther) Doering, Wellesley, and Mrs. Earl (Norma) Doering of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Rehberg of Milverton and Mrs. Walter (Ann) Koch, Wellesley and by one granddaughter.
Three brothers predeceased him.
The body will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, until noon Monday when removal will be made to St. Paul's Church for the funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Rev, Ronald Reisdorf will conduct the services.
