      A victim of pneumonia, Miss Caroline Conrad passed away at her home, 31 Noecker street, Waterloo, Tuesday night, after a short illness in her 74th year. She was born in Baumholder, Germany, and came to Canada with her parenta when she was but nine years of age. She resided in Waterloo for 17 years, coming from Erbsville. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. John Schnarr, Waterloo. The remains rest at the home of Mrs. Schnarr, 114 Union. street until Friday morning.

      The funeral service will be held at Letter's Funeral Home at 2.30 Friday afternoon. Rev. E. F. Schuelke of Kitchener will officiate. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery.
