  Mayer, Solomon, son of John L. and Mary (Yutzy) Mayer, was born at Baden, Ont., Sept. 29, 1887; died at the Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital, Sept. 12, 1963; aged 75 y. 11 m. 14 d. In 1919, he was married to Lydia Gunden, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons and 2 daughters (Clayton, Omar, Loretta Mayer, and Mrs. Ruth Ulrich, all of Sarasota). He was a member of the Tuttle Avenue Church, where funeral services were held Sept. 14, in charge of H. Michael Shenk. Gospel Herald, Oct 1963
