  WAGNER, Vernon Roy -- Died in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Thursday, Jan. 29, 1987, after a recent heart attack, Vernon Roy Wagner, age 70 years of RR2, Petersburg. Born in Waterloo township, he farmed near Petersburg until his retirement. He was a member of First United Church, Waterloo and was an elder of the church. He served as a flying instructor with the RCAF. Son of the late John Wagner and the former Bertha Scheerer. Survived by his wife, the former Helen Miller and sons, John and his wife Linda of Baden, Douglas and his wife Ruth of new Hamburg and Keith of Kitchener; sisters, Myrtle (Mrs. Garfield Shantz) and Edna (Mrs. Russell Weber), both of Kitchener, Ethel (Mrs. Glenn Jantzi) of Waterloo and Estella (Mrs. Harry Nafziger) of Kincardine, four granddaughters, Tracey, Teena, Lisa and Joanne. Mr. Wagner's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m., at First United Church, Waterloo, Rev R.H.
