    • GEORGE KOCH PASSES AWAY IN ST. AGATHA

      The death took place on Sunday noon of Mr. George Koch at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed. Knarr near St. Agatha, after a short illness of pneumonia which he contracted last Thursday. Deceased who was born in Woolwich Township was a well-known retired farmer and in his 71st year. The late Mr. Koch was twice married, his first wife being Catharine Rahn. After her death he was married to Elizabeth Rahn who survives with four sons, Henry, William and Herbert of Waterloo, Jacob of Kitchener, and two daughters, Pearl at home and Mrs. Ed. Knarr, (Emma), on the old homestead, and also five grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles Hass of Waterloo, and Mrs. Andrew Countryman of Grand Rapids, Mich., and one brother, MR. Philip Koch, Sault Ste. Marie, also survive.

      The funeral will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd at 1: 30 o'clock thence to the Erbsville Church and Cemetery for Internment.

      A large circle of friends will sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
