- Jacob Herber, 55 Menno Street, died at his home yesterday afternoon after a lingering illness of six weeks at the age of 57 years, three months and eight days. Mr. Herber engaged as a caretaker, was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters, and attended St. John's Lutheran church. He was born in St. Agatha in 1873, was married at Phillipsburg in 1902 and is survived by his wife, two sons, Norman and Lloyd, on daughter, Mrs. Baranski, all of Waterloo, one brother, John Herber, St. Agatha, and two sisters, Mrs. Otterbein of Kitchener and Lucinda of St. Agatha, also one grandchild. The funeral will be private at the house on Thursday at 2 o'clock and at St. John's Lutheran Church at 2:30. Interment will be made at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. C.S. Roberts Officiating.
