- DAVID HAMMER
David Hammer, 76, of Wellesley, died Tuesday. Born in Willmer [sic] Township, he was a son of the late Adam and Elizabeth Hammer.
Mr. Hammer was a member of the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine Heise; on son, Louis of Detroit (a second son, Adam, predeceased him); one daughter, Mrs. George (Matilda) Strebel of Waterloo; two brothers, Edward of RR 1, St. Agatha and Theodore of Elmira; one sister, Mrs. Charles Neeb of Tavistock; and five grandchildren. The body is at the Futher Funeral Home, Wellesley. At 1 p.m. Friday It will be removed to First St. Paul's Church where funeral services will be conducted at 2:30.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
