  Lichti, --- Magdalena, daughter of Jacob and Jacobena (Schwartzentruber) Roth, was born in East Zorra, Ont., March 23, 1871; died at the home of her daughter Selma after a short illness; aged 82 y. 1 m. 29 d. In 1895 she was married to Abraham S. Lichti, who preceded her in death in 1940. She was a member of the East Zorra Amish Mennonite Church. Surviving are one son (Daniel, New Hamburg, Ont.), 2 daughters (Selma-Mrs. Simon Roth, New Hamburg, Ont.; and Erma-Mrs. William Brozio, Bridgeport, Ont.), one brother (Joseph, South Easthope, Ont.), 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren . Funeral services were held at the East Zorra Church, May 24, in charge of Peter Nafziger and Henry Yantzi, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Roth, where a private service will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the 16th Line, East Zorra, A.M. Church at 3:00 o'clock.
