- Aaron Kropf
Funeral services were held Friday for Aaron Kropf, a native of St. Agatha, who died last week at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, after a lengthy illness. He was 64. A lifelong resident of the Twin City area, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Kropf, and was born at St. Agatha. He was a member of the St. Agatha Mennonite Church and was employed at Sunshine Office Equipment Ltd. For 28 years. Illness forced him to retire in March of 1965. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Herner, whom he married in St. Agatha Aug. 29, 1925; one son, Wilbert E. of Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. William (Verdella) Wynowsky of Waterloo; one brother, Lorne of Kitchener, two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Litwiller of Kitchener and Mrs. Henry (Arleatha) Zehr of New Hamburg; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. The service was held in St. Agatha Mennonite Church Friday afternoon and burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Kropf - Aaron, son of Rudolph and Katherine (Lichti) Kropf, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., Feb. 14, 1903; died at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, May 31, 1967; aged 64 y. 3 m. 17 d. On Aug. 25, 1925, he was married to Annie Herner, who survives. Also surviving are 2 children (Wilbert and Verdella-Mrs. William Wynowsky), one brother (Lorne), 2 sisters (Mrs. Barbara Litwiller and Arleatha-Mrs. Henry Zehr), and 6 grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and one sister. He was a member of the St. Agatha Church, where funeral services were held June 2, in charge of Ehier Schwartzentruber and Gerald Schwartzentruber.
