DR. B. F. DEVITT
A native of Waterloo, Dr. Benjamin Franklin Devitt, 74, died Saturday, at Philadelphia, Pa., where he had practised for the past 50 years. Death was due to a heart condition. Dr. Devitt attended Central School in Waterloo and the K-W Collegiate. He started practice in Philadelphia after graduating from the Philadelphia Medical College. His parents were the late Benjamin and Nancy Bowman. He was predeceased by four brothers, A. Harvey, Alvah, Edward and Daniel Orville and by three sisters, Mrs. E. L. Breithaupt, Mrs. George Hinchcliff and Miss Olive Devitt. Public funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 3: 30 at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, with Rev. D. I. Forsythe officiating. Interment will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery. The remains are resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home. Sympathy of friends will be accepted without flowers.
