I, Jacob Kunneman the Elder, of the Township of Waterloo, Yeoman…1st I Will and devise unto my beloved wife Gertrude, during her natural life, all my real and personal property of whatever kind or nature which I shall die possessed of or entitled to at the time of my deceased - my real property being composed of parts of Lots numbers one hundred and twenty two and one hundred and twenty three, of the German Company Tract of Waterloo. 2nd I Will that my herein after named Executors shall sell all my real and personal property so soon after the death of my said wife as conveniently may be, and out of the proceeds I will and devise unto my sons Jacob and Anthony, and my daughter Catharine (wife of Francis Compass) the sum of ten dollars each, and the balance of my estate to be equally divided among my sons Peter, Theobald, Ignatz and Joseph, share and share alike : however my said son Joseph's share or portion shall be vested in my Executors who shall put the said share on interest and shall annually pay to him said Joseph the interest of such share during his natural life, and after his death his children (if any) to inherit such principal or share, but in case he the said Joseph dies without issue, then in such and such share or portion to revert to and be equally divided among said Peter, Theobald and Ignatz, or their legal representatives. And, I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friends Anthony Kaiser of the Township of Wilmot, Esquire, and Anselm Wagner of the Town of Berlin, Potter, Executors of this my Last Will and Testament.
