- Cressman, Amos, son of Daniel and Leah (Weber) Cressman, was born in Woolwich Twp., Ont., Nov. 14, 1901; died at KW Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Oct. 11, 1978; aged 76 y. On Nov. 26, 1924, he was married to Hannah Brubacher, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Harold and Raymond), one daughter (Florence Beck), one sister (Mary Ann Bowman), and one brother (Daniel). He was a member of Elmira Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Oct. 14, in charge of Vernon Leis and Marvin Shank; interment in Elmira Mennonite Church Cemetery.

CRESSMAN Amos W. -- On Wednesday, Oct 11, 1978, at the K-W Hospital, aged 76 years, of 15 Snyder Ave. N., Elmira and formerly of Route 1, Elmira. Beloved husband of Hannah Brubacher; dear father of Harold and Raymond, both of Edmonton and Mrs. Staffoed (Florence) Bexk of Route 1, Elmira, 13 grandchildren also survive. Brother of Mrs. Michael (Mary Ann) Bowman of Cambridge (P) and Daniel Cressman of West Montrose. Three brothers predecesed him.
Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, after 7 p.m. today until Saturday at noon when removal wil be nade to the Elmira Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
