Morriston Native Dies
At an early hour on Saturday morning, January 19, 1936, in her 92nd year, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Armstrong in Hespeler. She had been in ill health for some time. She was born in Morriston but had been a resident of Hespeler for some fifty years. Her husband, Jacob Stremble, predeceased her some twelve years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Eagan of Toronto; Mrs. William Cutting and Mrs. William Armstrong of Hespeler; three sons, Joseph and William of Hespeler; Anthony of Westfield, MA; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren The funeral took place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Armstrong at 2: 30 on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. J. W. Hunt, pastor of the United Church, of which Mrs. Stremble was a member. Pallbearers were: Anthony Stremble of Westfield, MA; William and Joseph Stremble of Hespeler; Anthony Bowman of Morriston; William Armstrong and C. McCarley of Hespeler.
-Information from the transcription of Crown Cemetery: Two children, Caroline E. , who died on Oct. 5, 1880, aged 2 years, 6 months and Jacob A. , who died at 4 days on Aug. 26, 1872, are buried here.
