      HESPELER, July 19. - A well-known and highly citizen of Hespeler for practically his entire life, John Richard Goebel away at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Ostrom, London, Ont., yesterday at the age of 72 years. Mr. Goebel was born in Waterloo Township. He was a member of the Hespeler Lutheran Church.

      His wife, formerly Wilhelmina predeceased him about three years ago.

      Mr. Goebel, who had resided in Hespeler for the greater part of his life, had been staying of late at the home of his daughter in London.

      Surviving are three sons, Elmer, Victor and Edward of Haspeler; one daughter, Mrs Ostrom, London: one brother, George, of Toronto and one sister, Mrs. Nora Sizer, of Hespeler.

      Funeral services will be held from the Stager and Company Funeral Home. Saturday, at p.m. Interment will be in the Hespeler| Cemetery.
