    • FREEMAN, Nora (Jackson) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Fairview Mennonite Home on October 24, 2011. Precious wife of John C. (Jack) Freeman who predeceased her in 1981. Sadly missed by daughter Myra South and her husband Paul, son Mark and his wife Val, and grandchildren Whitney South, Lindsay Jaworski (Adam), Trevor Freeman (Christine), and Laurel Freeman. Fondly remembered by her brother Ron Jackson (Jean) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her grand-daughter Amy Freeman, brother Frank Jackson and sister-in-law Dorothy Jackson. Nora was a member of King Street Baptist Church in Cambridge and former member of Glen Acres Baptist Church in Waterloo. She was very active in her church, in the Gideons - Kitchener West, and with the Christian Women's Club. Nora's faith in Christ was the foundation of her life. It is a great comfort to know that she is resting with her Lord and Saviour. Special thanks to the staff at Stirling Heights for their loving kindness at the start of Mom's journey and to the staff at Fairview Mennonite Home for their care and compassion at the end of her journey. Visitation will be at the Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge from 2: 00 p.m. to 4: 00 p.m. on October 27, 2011. The funeral service will be held at King Street Baptist Church, 361 King Street East, Cambridge on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
