    • THOMAS BURNETT

      HESPELER, Feb. 8 ---- Another of Ilespeler's grand old citizens, Thomas Burnett, passed away at his home here Sunday in his 91st year. Mr. Burnett, who was born on the Burnett homestead in North Dumfries township in 1847, had lived in this community for many years. A blacksmith by trade, he retired some years ago. Surviving are his widow, four sons, William '1'. and Harold, both at home, E. W. Burnett, Hespcler and E. H. Burnett, Preston and two daughters, Mrs. John Parken, Toronto and Mrs. E. E. Hill, also of Toronto. The funeral will be held at 2.30 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon from the family residence to Preston Cemetery for burial. Rev. T. G. Marshall of the Hespeler Presbyterian Church will officiate.
