- WM. ANDERSON GALT MAN, IS FATALLY HURT
Son of the Late William Anderson Is Killed at Timmins
Word received in the city today that William Anderson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Anderson, who formerly resided on Blenheim Road, was killed in an accident in Timmins yesterday.
While details surrounding the accident are vague, it is understood that "Bill" as he was better known in Galt, was riding on the running board of a car when he was killed. He had been working during the summer months in a mine in Timmins and was just about finished for this year. He had planned on returning to his studies in second year of electrical engineering at the Toronto University, where he was putting himself through in that course.
The late Mr. Anderson was born in Galt and was well known throughout the city. He worked, for a time, at Dixon Dairy and later at B.F. Sturtevant Co. of Canada, in Galt.
He is survived by one sister, Helen of this city and one brother, Robert who is connected with the Sturtevant Company office in Toronto.
