    • HODGSON, GEORGE

      Suddenly, at his home in Puslinch Township, at about 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon, June 24, 1940, in his 76th year. He was born in Port Perry and was a highly esteemed resident of Hespeler for over forty years. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Baptist Church. His wife predeceased him in December 1934. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. R. Bunton of Saginaw, Michigan. Funeral held on Thursday, June 27 at 2: 30, from the Stager and Co. Funeral Chapel, with service conducted by Rev. J. C. Williamson, pastor of the Preston Baptist Church. Interment Hespeler Cemetery. Pallbearers: John Murdock of Guelph; C. Ramsay of Preston; Harold Eagle of Burlington; Albert Currie, J. A. Beattie and Henry Knight of Hespeler.
