The Funeral Will take place from his late residence, Lot 1, Con. 8, Blenheim, on Monday, May 9th, at 2.30 p.m., to Ayr Cemetery. Black By Record Correspondent AYR, May 6.-A lifelong resident of the district, George Douglas Black, 88, died today in the house where he was born, "Wilton Farm." Mr. Black was born March 26, 1861, son of the late George and Mary Edgar Black, who came from Scotland. He was a member of Knox United Church: He is survived by his wife, Mary Smith Guthrie. They were married at Ayr March 9, 1887. Also surviving are three daughters, Miss Elizabeth, Miss Mary and Mrs. E. A. (Margaret) Cochrane, Ayr district.
