  Elizabeth Baumann, "the third daughter of David and Maria (Bechtel) Baumann, was born July 23rd, 1826. In 1858 she was married to Henry W. Otterbein, a native of Hesse Darnstadt, Germany. They reside in Stanley Township, Huron County, Ontario, where he is engaged in farming. They have a family of family of four children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
