Notes - BRUNK, Jean Catharine - Passed away, peacefully, on Friday, April 24, 2009, at Sunnyside Home, at the age of 81 years. Devoted wife of Delmer (Del) for 59 years. Loving sister of Helen Eby and Esther Trussler, both of Kitchener. Dear sister-in-law to Sandra Brunk, Jean Bowring, Helen Gingrich, Della Watts, and Betty Border. She will also be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her parents Norman and Berta (nee Meyer) Hoffman; sister Marie Beam and brothers-in-law Roy Eby, Sonny Trussler and Walter Beam. Jean's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen St. N., Kitchener. A reception will take place after the funeral service in Iona Hall of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church followed by an interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and the Alzheimer Society of K-W would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
