  Joseph K. Baumann, "the eldest son of Henry B. K. Baumann, was born in Pennsylvania, April 10th, 1814. On March 15th, 1839, he was married to Susan Sechrist. They resided at Berlin, Michigan, where she died July 5th, 1888. He died January 15th, 1890. Their family consisted of five children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
