• Notes

  Ventry R. Conway (brother of John Dumas Conway), recently gradu-ated as a druggist, decided to set up business in Hespeler and in 1881 built the present Phin Building, which was insured through our office on December 9th of that year. Before the building was ready for occupancy another Druggist, Mr. George K. C. McGregor had opened a store across the street about where Gordon Schmidt now has his shoe repair shop, which he continued some years.
